I found the picture layouts on the front page and page 3 of the April 3 Californian very thought provoking. They were photos of Club Libby Lu, a store that specializes in allowing young girls to dress up in glamorous outfits, and Tilted Kilt Sports Bar, an eatery and pub that features scantily clad young women in kilts.

Whatever happened to the joy of raiding your grandmother's closet for all those wonderful old clothes, jewelry and fabulous shoes? It didn't cost a dime and allowed all children, no matter the economic restraints, to become princesses.
Ah well, that was then and this is now.
