Since his election to the state Assembly, then Congress, Kevin McCarthy has consistently shown that he has only one objective in politics, and that is to advance himself and the Republican Party.
He has done nothing to benefit the people in his district. He's voted to take insurance away from tens of thousands of people in his district, raise our taxes, do away with our tax deductions, all while sucking up to President Trump. I think that like Bill Thomas, McCarthy sees the handwriting on the wall, that Democrats will more than likely take back the House. That would make McCarthy the minority leader. Rather than lose the power he has today, I wonder if he might resign and go to work for Trump in the private sector.
That would be perfect. After all, Trump refers to him as "My Kevin," which indicates to me that Trump pretty much owns him.
