The definition of socialism: “Any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods collected.”

So Socialism is Collectivism, which is the personal or social orientation that emphasizes the good of the group, community, or society over and above individual gain. Simply stated, the Collectivist doctrine emphasizes the individual has no rights and that his life and work belong to the group and the group may sacrifice him at its own whim to its own interests. This reminds me of Barack Obama’s end of life counseling or job assignments for people according to race. The only way to implement a doctrine of that kind is by means of brute force or with the use of voting illegals.

The California legislature is living from pay check to pay check and could not balance a budget if you held a gun to their heads. They owe millions of dollars from past unpaid law suits and must write off all the money in the employment retirement accounts because there is no money to pay them. This is when the group (the Collectivist) puts the retirement funds in the general fund and uses it as they see fit, because with socialism some people are more equal than others.
