The Kern County Sheriff's Office arrested a man in the death of Kyle Ramirez on Saturday night in Rosamond.

Jaime Brisenoperez, 32, was arrested on suspicion of homicide after he was interviewed by detectives at the KCSO headquarters in Bakersfield, a KCSO news release said. 

Deputies from the Rosamond Substation were dispatched at about 5:15 p.m. on a call of suspicious activity at the 2000 block of Alexander Avenue, the news release said. 

Deputies found a man with signs of trauma, dead inside the residence, the news release said. The coroner's office identified him as Kyle Ramirez, 32. 

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at 861-3110 or the Secret Witness line at 322-4040.
