RENO, Nev. -- Solomon Alabi, on assignment from the Toronto Raptors, scored eight quick points, mostly on dunks Monday, as the Bakersfield Jam built an early 17-2 lead over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Then came the foul trouble for Alabi, who was whistled for four first-half fouls, and then picked up another in the third quarter.

Fort Wayne (7-11) took advantage of Alabi's absence wit, trimming Bakersfield's lead to two at the half, and eventually used a 13-0 run late in the fourth quarter en route to a 100-96 win in the third game of the 2012 NBA D-League Showcase.

After finishing the first quarter with eight points, four rebounds, two blocks and only one personal foul, Alabi was called for three second-quarter fouls.

He then picked up another foul at the start of the third quarter, and was forced to sit for most of the second half.

Renaldo Major led Bakersfield (9-8) with 14 points, but shot just 2-for-10 from the field. Jeremy Wise added 13 points and a team-high eight assists. Adam Koch finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds, but missed a driving layup that would have tied the game with five seconds left in regulation.
