DELANO Andy Del Campo rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns to help Delano High roll over Monache 33-12 in an East Yosemite League opener.
The Tigers improved to 5-0.
One of Del Campo's runs was a 50-yarder for a TD in the fourth quarter.
The final TD of the game came when Monache's Abraham Florez returned the ensuing kickoff 90 yards.
Taft 28, Porterville 6
TAFT Cody Shirreffs carried 34 times for 244 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Wildcats (4-1) to a non-league win.
Jordan McIntire of Porterville got the first points on the board with a 96-yard touchdown run.
Tehachapi 32, Rosamond 6
TEHACHAPI - The Warriors scored on their first five possessions in a non-league home victory.
Jesse Olofson rumbled for 50 rushing yards and three touchdowns before Tehachapi (4-1) sat its starters at the end of the opening quarter for the rest of the night.
Thirteen Tehachapi players combined for for 231 rushing yards in the Warrior wing-T attack. Cal Weeks, Phil Rhodes and Bobby Cooley combined for 122 of those yards, with Cooley scoring on a 5-yard run midway through the second quarter.
Chris Rush completed the only pass of the night for the Warriors on a 77-yard TD to Travis Farewell. Zach Timm had an interception and John Porter a fumble recovery on defense.
For Rosamond (1-4), Curtis McCann scored on an 80-yard run in the fourth quarter. He led the Roadrunners with 94 rushing yards.
Mira Monte 39, Tulare-Mission Oak 7
Sophomore running back Timothy Harris ran for 140 yards and scored three touchdowns, all in the first quarter, as the Lions earned the first victory in school history.
Mira Monte (1-4, 1-0 South Central Sequoia League), which led 22-0 after one quarter, also got 149 rushing yards from Jesse Flowers.
Clovis Christian 55, Lighthouse Christian 28
CLOVIS -- Patrick Murphy passed for 234 yards and a touchdown and Zach Icenhower had eight catches for 158 yards and a TD in a losing cause for the Guardians, who dropped to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the Central Valley Eight-Man League.
Lighthouse's Julian Garza made nine tackles, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble.
