Bakersfield United Sports Association has joined with Gladiator Youth Basketball,Prodigy Basketball and B-Town Ballers to form elite travel teams for the Spring and Summer travel season. Tryouts for boys and girls teams ages 15-17, including unsigned seniors, will be held Monday at the Bakersfield United Sports Gym 1616 U Street. Girls: 5-7 p.m.; Boys: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. All other travel club teams are encouraged to join our collaboration as we attempt to assemble the very best talent in Bakersfield to compete in the most elite "college exposure" tournaments. Track and field

Team RAW Track and Field Club is hosting pre-season registration for youth athletes in grades 4th thru 8th. Current preseason practices are 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Club competes in Southern California meets on Saturdays beginning this month and ending in middle April. The purpose for the pre-season activities is to provide athletes with proper conditioning and participation in USATF sanctioned meets so that they are event ready when the NOR season begins.
