Basketball
Bakersfield United Sports Association will conclude its High School Fall League Saturday with an All Star single-elimination playoff. Bakersfield United Sports Association will begin its Winter League for elementary and middle school boys and girls on Nov. 15. Sign-ups are being conducted now. There are no tryouts for this development league. We have some of the best developers of youth basketball skills in the Valley. The Rosedale Racers Youth Running Development Team is accepting registration applications for the upcoming USATF Junior Olympics. Team is seeking passionate boy and girl athletes between 7-12 for club age-group teams that will compete at the regionals, and then at the USATF Nationals in Reno. Accomplishments
The Golden Empire Youth Football Fighting Irish JV team will be playing in the Southern Conference Championship Saturday. In the first round of playoffs, the Fighting Irish defeated the Central JV team 27-26 in overtime at Griffith Field with the Fighting Irish JV team winning their first playoff game in their history.
