Tyler Garewal hit a pair of doubles in BC's 4-1 loss Friday at Cerritos College.

The Renegades (28-17) will face Cerritos (30-14) at 11 a.m. Saturday in the second game of a best-of-three series. If BC wins, a third game will be played 30 minutes after Game 2.

BC managed just three hits through the first eight innings, but loaded the bases in ninth with one out on back-to-back singles by Brandon Boren and Casey Brown and a walk to Dylan Nasiatka.

But Flores, who struck out eight, got Jeff Burleson to ground into a game-ending double play.

BC starter Jeremy Gonzales allowed three earned runs in eight innings.

Tyler Garewal doubled twice for the 'Gades. Boren added two hits.

Cerritos scored a run each in the first and second innings on ground ball outs for a 2-0 lead.

The Renegades cut the lead to 2-1 with a run in the fifth.

But the Falcons added a run in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Trever Blood.

Blood scored Cerritos' final run in the eighth on a bunt by Jared Olsen.
