Deshawn Sims provided some much-needed relief for the Maine Red Claws.

Smith scored 32 points and pulled down a team-best 12 rebounds to help the Maine Red Claws rally for a 107-91 victory on Sunday at the Jam Events Center, salvaging a split in a two-game set with the Jam, and more importantly ending a franchise-record eight game road losing streak

The Jam (28-19) made 6 of its first 8 3-point tries to build a 35-20 first-quarter lead.

Magnum Rolle added 18 points for Maine.

Drew Naymick recorded his tenth double-double of the season for the Jam, with 15 points and 10 rebounds. D'Andre Bell, Jeremy Wise, and Derrick Byars added 13 points each.

Trey Johnson of the Jam, the league's scoring leader, played only 13 minutes and scored 9.

Things heated up in the closing minutes with Bakersfield head coach Will Voigt being ejected by referee Scott Brown after arguing a foul that saw Derrick Byars collar Rolle as he drove to the basket. Rolle was slow to get up but finished the game.

The Jam next plays Wednesday at Utah.
