Jam unable to hold lead

OREM, Utah -- Utah Jazz assignee Morris Almond scored a game-high 29 points and the Utah Flash shot 57.1 percent from the field in a 108-96 victory over the Jam Friday at the McKay Events Center.
The Flash (21-14), which made 40 of its 70 shots from the field, also outrebounded the Jam 47-29.
Bakersfield (21-19) next plays Tuesday at Anaheim.
The Jam led by 11 midway through the second period.
Utah responded and a Kevin Kruger 3-pointer capped a Flash 13-1 run and gave Utah its first lead of the game at 44-42 with 3:09 left in the half.
Trey Johnson led Bakersfield with 28 points, while Derrick Byars added 18. Justin Reed, Nick Lewis and Alpha Bangura each had 12.
