CSUB men's team ranked 20th in soccer poll

Cal State Bakersfield is No. 20 in this week's men's soccer poll, according to Soccer America.
It is the first of CSUB's new-era teams to be ranked since the program's elevation to NCAA Division I status. The wrestlng and water polo teams, which have been Division I for several seasons, had both been ranked in the top-25 in the past.
"This is a tremendous confirmation of our great start," said CSUB coach Simon Tobin, whose squad is 2-0.
CSUB began the season with a 1-0 overtime win over then-No. 7-ranked C Santa Barbara. A 3-1 win over UC Davis followed.
