College roundup: CSUB women's basketball signs 3 recruits

Cal State Bakersfield has signed three senior high school guards to letters-of-intent, women's basketball coach Tim La Kose announced Wednesday.
Madison McKenney from Santa Margarita Catholic High School, Tyonna Outland from Lynwood High School and Marilyn Naderhoff from Santee-West Hills High signed with the Roadrunners.
McKenney averaged 8.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.6 steals in her junior season. Outland averaged 16.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.7 steals her junior year. Naderhoff was an all-Grossmont North League pick in basketball and volleyball and has a 4.0 GPA.
Taft rolls in volleyball
TAFT -- Taft College used a solid serving game to roll past West Hills in a Central Valley Conference volleyball match, 25-13, 25-7, 25-11.
Taft is 12-10 overall and 8-4 in CVC play. West Hills is 1-17 and 0-12.
Setter Kawehi Doo was 20-of-20 serving with five aces and had 36 assists. Defensive specialist Michelle Hardy was 14-of-14 serving with two aces, and she had 19 digs. Tracy Lewis had 18 kills, four blocks and six digs and Cortney Dickerson had 10 kills.
