Seattle University handed Cal State Bakersfield a 26-28, 25-19, 25-19, 20-25, 15-9 volleyball loss Monday night in the Icardo Center.
CSUB (12-14) had beaten Seattle Sunday afternoon when the Redhawks had a dismal hitting performance.
On Monday, Seattle (7-19) improved to .286 while the Roadrunners struggled.
"I told the team before the match that Seattle would play better," said CSUB coach John Price. "I said I thought they would handle our serve better and make fewer errors, and they did both of those things."
Lindy DeGeare led three Roadrunners in double figures with 19 kills. Lindsay Toone had 15 kills and a .316 attack percentage. Alysia Baker added 12 kills.
