Six players scored Tuesday as the Ontario Reign continued its mastery over the Condors with a 6-0 victory.

It was the most lopsided loss this season for the Condors, who were out shot 36-15.

Bakersfield managed just three shots on goal in both the second and third periods.

The Condors beat the Reign in Ontario to open the ECHL season but the Reign has won the six subsequent meetings.

The Condors (8-23-3) were coming off a win in Utah on New Year's Eve but were unable once again to make it two in a row. Bakersfield opened the season with back-to-back wins but has not won two in a row since.

Pat Bowen opened the scoring five minutes into the game and C.J. Stretch scored 12:07 in the second to make it 2-0.

The Reign blew the game open with two goals in the first 1:42 of the third period, by Bill Bagron and Kyle Kraemer. Francois Brisebois and Kevin Estrada had the final two goals.

Prior to the game, rookie forward Tyler Helfrich was named ECHL Player of the Week. In four games last week, the Calgary, Alberta, native recorded two goals and five assists for seven points. His five-game point streak came to a halt on Tuesday night.

Helfrich is the second Condor this season to earn an ECHL award after fellow winger Scott Freeman was named the rookie of the month for October.

The Condors play their next four games at home, beginning with games against Stockton on Friday and Saturday nights.
