Bakersfield Condors coach Marty Raymond went for a knockout Thursday. Raymond brought in a defenseman wih scoring punch and a forward with well, punch, with the signings of Pierre-Luc Lessard and Erick Lizon.

The Thetford Mines, Quebec native was sixth in the league with 52 points in 67 games last season.
