Mavs rip Blaze 10-0 in finale

A day after his throwing error gave the Bakersfield Blaze a victory, High Desert's Leury Bonilla delivered four hits and four RBis to lead the Mavericks to a 10-0 season-ending victory Monday afternoon at Sam Lynn Ballpark.
Bonilla homered twice and scored four runs in five at-bats as the Mavericks dispatched of the Blaze in 1 hour, 39 minutes.
Taylor Stanton (4-5) allowed six hits in seven innings and struck out four the Mavs.
Denny Almonte and James McOwen also homered for High Desert, which pounded out 15 hits.
Carlos Mendez and Devin Lohman had two apiece for Bakersfield.
Blaze starter Matt Fairel (0-6) was tagged for eight runs on 13 hits in 52â3 innings.
