'Gades achieve No. 3 ranking in SoCal poll

It's the most important poll, and Bakersfield College's football team is ranked No. 3.
The Renegades (6-1) are No. 3 in the Southern California poll as compiled by the California Community College Athletic Association and the coaches association.
The top eight teams in the final regular-season Southern California poll advance to the SoCal playoffs, and the top four teams have home games.
BC is ranked behind No. 1 El Camino (7-0), which was a unanimous No. 1 pick with 14 first-place votes, and No. 2 Cerritos (6-0).
Teams following BC are No. 4 Fullerton (5-1), No. 5 Mount San Antonio (5-1), No. 6 Palomar (6-1), No. 7 Allan Hancock (6-1) and No. 8 Saddleback (6-1).
BC's only loss this season was 40-24 at El Camino on Sept. 26.
