Salty's BBQ and Catering is commemorating its 5th anniversary with a fundraiser Sunday to support the family of Jack Beaton, a victim of the Las Vegas shooting.

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Salty's BBQ will donate 10 percent of its Sunday sales to the Beaton Family, and the employees will donate 100 percent of tips to the family.

Jack Beaton’s son, Jake Beaton, is an employee of Salty’s BBQ.

“Jack Beaton was a great father who was proud of his son and the work he does as a grill master at Salty’s BBQ,” owner Jeff Salters said in a statement. “Our entire Salty’s BBQ family grieves with the Beatons, and we are glad to be able to help support them in this trying time.”

In the past, Salty’s BBQ has celebrated its anniversary with fundraisers for local organizations, and in light of the tragedy in Las Vegas, Salters and his staff decided to focus on supporting one of their own, Jake Beaton.
