This photo brings back fond and memorable thoughts. I remember going to eat at Tiny's restaurant shown on the left. It later was moved across the street to the North adjacent to the California theater. I fondly remember the balcony in the backside of the relocated restaurant. Within a one block radius, I remember Sees' Candies, Rogers Jewelers, Wickersham Jewelers, J.C. Penney, Martin's Shoes, Leeds, Vest's Drugs. A block east there was Seas Roebuck and Kress. One block south there was Lambeau Travel Agency, Henley's Photo Shop and El Tejon Drugs. I remember my wedding reception being held at the Hotel El Tejon,in the Spanish ballroom where Bank of American now stands. Nostalgic times to be sure.
