The medical office of Dr. Jacquelyn Kotarac, who died last week in a chimney, is continuing to serve patients and a replacement doctor with 32 years of experience will arrive Tuesday to take over, the staff said Thursday.
The replacement doctor is Sarwa Aldoori, who has practiced internal medicine and gynecology in Bakersfield and Arvin, according to Tianna Onsurez, the office manager at Kotarac's practice.
The same staff will assist patients, she said. Further information is available by going to the office at 3941 San Dimas St., Suite 103a, or by calling 322-3225. The office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except for the lunch hour from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Kotarac, 49, died because she was unable to breathe after she entered the chimney at the home of her estranged boyfriend, William H. Moodie, while he was away on Aug. 25.
