More swine flu clinics scheduled

The Kern County Public Health Department has revised and added to its list of upcoming H1N1 flu vaccine clinics. The vaccine is available to any member of the public for free.

Below is the list; supplies are limited and all clinics are subject to postponement due to supplies and/or weather conditions.

Planned H1N1 clinics include:

* 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at the Tehachapi Veterans Hall, 125 East "F" St.

* 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Glendale Trail & Park Drive, 300 Park Drive in Frazier Park.

* 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at the Veterans Hall, 6405 Lake Isabella Blvd. in Lake Isabella. Seasonal flu vaccine will also be available.

* 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Rand Community Building, 27721 Highway 395 in Johannesburg.

* 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Public Health office, 810 8th St. in Wasco.

* 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Boron Junior High Multi-Purpose Room, 26381 Prospect St. in Boron.

* 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Strata Center, 10350 Heather Ave. in California City.

* 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Martin Luther King Community Center, 1000 S. Owens St. in Bakersfield.
