Three Bakersfield men were treated for stab wounds suffered during a fight outside Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant at Valley Plaza Friday night.
Alexander Vera, 24, and Adrian Robles, 27, were transported to Kern Medical Center for treatment of serious wounds; they were listed in stable condition Saturday. Ramiro Hernandez, 33, was treated for a head laceration at San Joaquin Community Hospital and released.
A Bakersfield Police news release indicated that the fight started when someone threw an object into a vehicle, prompting the occupants to get out.
During the fight, someone drove off with the vehicle. The vehicle was later discovered at the Ranch Market on South H Street. Jesus Rangel, 23, was arrested on suspicion of grand theft auto and possession of a stolen vehicle. Later, in the 2300 block of South J Street, police found Cipriano Ramirez, 25, who was suspected of being among the vehicle's original occupants. He was arrested on suspicion of three counts of assault with a deadly weapon. The investigation was continuing.
