KEITH BARNDEN has earned an e-PRO Technology Certification through an online course offered by the National Association of Realtors. Barnden works at KB Realty. The certification is designed to give real estate professionals technology tools to help customers buy or sell a home.
LOLA TRAYLOR has created a website for Bakersfield homeowners in distress. The site, www.mortgage-crisis-solutions.com, explains options for people struggling to make their mortgage payments. Traylor works as a real estate agent at Prudential Tobias Realtors.
CORRINE COATS has joined Community Action Partnership of Kern, where she now oversees outreach and resource development. A Bakersfield native, Coats has more than eight years of experience in local marketing, communications and public relations. The Partnership is a nonprofit created in 1965 to fight poverty in Kern County.
LAURA ARREDONDO and SALVADOR CERVANTES have formed Hispanic Media Group LLC, a Bakersfield-based advertising agency specifically targeting the Hispanic market. For 13 years Arredondo headed up marketing and public relations at Family Motors Group. Cervantes has more than 30 years of marketing experience, much of it in Spanish-language television and radio advertising. Arredondo serves as president of the group, and Cervantes is vice president.
