Kern County Sheriff's deputies are seeking help in their investigation of the August killing of a Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway employee in Tehachapi.

Robert Limon, 38, of Helendale, was found dead in an industrial complex in the 1500 block of Goodrick Drive on Aug. 17. An autopsy showed he died of multiple gunshot wounds.

According to detectives, Limon had returned to one of the BNSF Railway Co. buildings at the Summit Industrial Park at 6:46 p.m. after field work earlier in the day.

He was last seen by co-workers about 5 p.m. According to detectives, Limon was assaulted by an unknown suspect or suspects shortly after arriving at the office.

BNSF has offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects in the case.
