Stockdale High School will hold a grand opening for its new Parent and Family Center on Thursday.

The opening will be held at 5 p.m. on the campus, 2800 Buena Vista Road. The center will serve as a one-stop shop for parents and families to obtain resources, participate in workshops, sign up for volunteer opportunities and more.

“We will offer classes in coordination with many agencies to help parents and students get information about college and jobs, dealing with stress, nutrition, etc. or parents can keep up with current information like grades and attendance,” said Principal Scott Odlin. “We look forward to offering many activities and classes through the parent center and to having parents drop in to get information whenever needed.”
