The South Valley Soccer Club recently donated $2,000 to Scarlett Sabin and the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House, located at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital.

The donation was generated from money collected at Chuy’s October Nights Cornhole Tournament on Oct. 7, an event the club sponsors, according to the soccer club.

“South Valley is honored to support a local organization that provides families with personal necessities and lodging while their children receive specialized medical treatment at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital,” club spokesman Ron Valenti said.
