Caltrans has announced upcoming roadwork that will affect traffic.

The westbound Highway 58 connector to southbound Highway 99 will be closed between 5 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday for landscape maintenance.

And there will be one-way traffic control on Highway 41 from the San Luis Obispo County line to five miles east of the San Luis Obispo County line from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day between Monday and Friday for maintenance.

Maintenance crews will use flagging personnel and a pilot vehicle to escort traffic through the work zone. Drivers are reminded to obey flagging personnel, stay behind the pilot vehicle and pay close attention to road maintenance vehicles.

Closures may continue for longer periods of time if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur during road maintenance procedures, Caltrans said.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible.
