Greg’s Petroleum Service is developing a new facility at the corner of Coffee Road and Downing Avenue in northwest Bakersfield to better serve the Bakersfield area as a commercial fuel and lubricants supplier, it says.

The facility will include an office space, a large unattended CFN Cardlock fueling location, a warehouse, and a bulk storage facility. It will be one of the few facilities in California offering Chevron ISOCLEAN Certified Lubricants, the company said, which are free from harmful particles.

Greg's Petroleum Service opened as a small business in Delano in 1961; Ron Mariani worked his way up in it and took it over 30 years ago. At the new Bakersfield site, the Mariani family is developing the Coffee-facing portion into retail space and so far, Buffalo Wild Wings has agreed to the spot on the corner.

Negotiations are underway with other restaurants and shops.

Greg's serves hundreds of companies in the fields of agriculture, oil, construction, industry, fleet, retail and government. Its service area includes the San Joaquin Valley and Ventura area.

It is a common business move by companies especially those that sell products as their core business to keep expanding to have increased storage. Over time, they would be increasing their supply to meet increasing demand. This shows how much progress has the company achieved so far and acts as a guide.
