Editorial Page Editor Robert Price is the host on Tuesday's edition of "Californian Radio." He’ll discuss employment law and the lawsuits associated with those laws.
Human resources consultant Robin Paggi will talk about some of the more interesting lawsuits filed against employers last year and the important lessons learned for all employers from these suits. Starbucks, Gap, Banana Republic, Costco and Whole Foods were among the corporations that were sued by employees and prospective employees in 2011. At least one employer agreed to pay $750,000 to settle.
The show airs from 9 to 10 a.m. on KERN-AM 1180. To call in with a question or comment, dial 842-KERN. To listen to archived shows, visit Bakersfield.com/CalifornianRadio.
