A new law affecting every Calfornian regarding pistol ammunition purchases stands to put shooters' rights under seige once again. All gun owners need to immediately contact the Governor's office and highly "suggest" that he not sign any more anti-ammunition/anti-gun legislation into effect. Concerned citizens can send an e-mail to the governor's home page at www.gov.ca.gov/interact. Type your name and e-mail address, select 'gun control' under "Choose your subject," hit submit and then write your message. You can also call or send a fax to his lordship's office at 916-445-2841 or fax at 916-558-3160

This bill is already on the Governator's desk, ready for his signature, even though the bill is both asinine and ridiculous. Here's a quick peek at what our liberal legislators snuck across the board while we slept and our "trusted" good guys and gals in the state congress went on vacation. The legislature has already passed AB-962 and it is waiting for the governor's signature or his veto.

AB-962 will prohibit on-line and mail-order sales of all pistol ammo and components; restrict over- the-counter sale of all pistol ammo, including .22s, .22 magnum and all .223s; would require all handgun vendors to obtain a complete profile of ammo purchasers, including thumbprint, address, birth date, phone number, driver's license number and signature. Delivery or transfer of ownership of any pistol ammo may only occur in a face-to-face transaction with the deliverer or transferor being provided evidence of identity.

This proposed enactment is simply another veiled attempt by the power hungry, leftist wolves in our government to legitimize their anti-constitutional, gun-stripping agenda. Claiming safety for the free masses, they continue to try to ban the sale of ammuntion or make purchasing it very difficult. These insulting and anti-American efforts should only solidify gun-owner efforts to oust these despicable, anti-American, socialist, power-hungry, idiotic, constituent-fearing low-lifes.

Remember, legitimate gun owners are the backbone of American society. Without the keepers of the Second Amendment, the Militia, if you will, nothing in our Constitution will be held sacred under the auspices of government protection for the masses. What we are seeing right now in our lifetimes is the same population disarming that once occurred in Germany, Russia, Uganda, China, Japan, England (that's right, England!) and a host of other countries run by power-hungry madmen interested only in complete control of the defenseless populace.

"Safety for the Free Masses"? A noble gesture for sure, but one that any sane citizen can see right through when they have all the facts of gun ownership at their disposal.

"To be safe under your government means that citizens will neither be safe, nor free," as Ben Franklin once pointed out, and this law is just another perversity that every American should fear.

Gun-control is basically:

1. A cover-up by an extremely weak and scared leftist government to properly legislate criminality.

2. A biased attack against righteous Constitutional provisions in the name of public safety.

3. The failure of Congress to strongly and fearlessly assert itself in criminal prosecution

4. A failure of our elected officials to use common sense in any legislation.

5. The total inability of Congress to legislate effectively at all.

6. The failure of the "silent majority" to step forward and be heard.

7. An attempt to subject the population to despotic control of their own lives.

Gun owners have little time left to stop government from turning us into a bunch of robotic, defenseless sheep. They must act now or risk losing everything that we hold dear in America.
