* Rosedale Racersyouth track team is hosting a track meet Saturday at Almondale School on Verdugo and Noriega in Bakersfield. Sign-ups will start at 8 a.m., with the first event, the 1- mile, starting around 9:15. This is a track meet only, no field events. There will be ribbons for placers 1-5 in each event per heat. Some concessions available. The meet is open to boys and girls ages 6-14. Cost is $10 entry, plus $2 per additional events. This is a very informal event for all kids.
