The Bakersfield accounting firm Daniells Phillips Vaughan & Bock announced the promotions of four employees, certified public accountants BILL FLYNN, EMILY PACHECO, STEPHANIE PETERS and SALVADOR SAAVEDRA.

Flynn, who joined the firm in 2014, was promoted to the position of senior in the firm’s financial reporting services department.

Pacheco’s promotion made her tax manager of the firm’s tax services department. She joined the company in 2007 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Peters was promoted to become a director at the firm. She has almost 20 years of tax experience, 14 of them at Danniells Phillips, and is involved with continued education training for its tax department. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Saavedra became a tax manager at the firm. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Saavedra is treasurer of the CalCPA Bakersfield chapter and last year received its 2015 Young Emerging Professional award.
