WILLIAM DALE MORRIS has been inducted into PepsiCo’s Chairman’s Circle of Champions, an honor that signifies the local Frito-Lay employee is one of the company’s top performers worldwide. Only 216 associates among more than 250,000 won the honor. An induction ceremony took place last month in New York City.
MARCUS GALLO has been named manager of Buckle Inc.’s store at Valley Plaza. Gallo began his career with Buckle in 2006, and was trained as a manager at the chain’s Canoga Park location. Nebraska-based Buckle sells fashionable apparel, accessories and footwear for young men and women.
CHRIS LANGLEY has joined the Central Coast office of Bakersfield-based RE/MAX Magic as sales manager. Licensed to sell real estate since 2006 and familiar with REOs and short sales, Langley has worked with industry professionals Brian Buffini and MIke Ferry.
DAVID A. TORRES recently was awarded the Kern County Democratic Central Committee’s Dorothy M. Donahoe Perpetual Trophy. Given in remembrance of the late assemblywoman whose name graces the trophy, the award honors the county’s “best Democrat.” Torres, a lifelong Democrat, was a member of the Class of 2000 Electoral College.
BARBIE ALEXANDER has joined Coldwell Banker Preferred. Licensed to sell real estate four years ago, Alexander worked most recently for Lennar Homes. She was hired by Coleman Homes upon moving to Bakersfield from Atascadero in 1999. She has experience in new construction and residential resales.

The program involves attending numerous live classes on real estate sales.
RICHARD CLASEN has been appointed to lead Prudential Tobias, Realtors’ new commercial division. Clasen has more than 30 years of experience in real estate. On the team with Clasen are: DAVID GAY, FRANK SIMON, BELINDA CAPILLA, JESSIE CONTRERAS and JOSEPH RAMOS. The division’s services include investments, multifamily, retail, industrial, office, ag sales and tax-deferred exchanges.
