ALLEN WILLIS has joined Buena Vista Mortgage. He has more than 10 years of experience in the mortgage business, and specializes in private money loans. He works with FHA and VA loans as well as conventional buyers.
ANITA CALVILLO has joined Buena Vista Mortgage. She is bilingual and has more than 15 years of experience with FHA, VA and conventional loans.
THOMAS STEWART has been elected to serve a one-year term as president of the California Dental Association. Stewart has operated his own practice in Bakersfield since 1976. He graduated from Howard University’s College of Dentistry in 1972, and served four years in the U.S. Navy on active duty as a dentist, and then 19 years in the naval reserve. Stewart has served in many and various leadership positions, including as chairman of the association-owned The Dentists Insurance Co., and as a member of the American Dental Association’s Council of Communications. He also has been president as well as trustee and board member of the Kern County Dental Society. Additionally, Stewart has long served on the advisory board of the Teen Challenge of Kern County, and on the board of STEPS, a local drug and rehabilitation program.
