MIKE GEORGE has been named 2009 Affiliate of the Year by the Bakersfield Association of Realtors’ Board of Directors. George is owner and mortgage consultant at Agape Mortgage. He serves on the association’s golf committee, its Affiliates in Action committee and its Caravan committee. As chairman of the association’s Cantree committee, he helped raise more than $10,000 for Golden Empire Gleaners. George serves as a commissioner for the Bakersfield Fire Department, and in 2009 was named Bakersfield Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 2009 Volunteer of the Year.
PAMA MOSIER has rejoined Coldwell Banker Preferred, Realtors.
LEZLIE CHAFFIN was named Real Estate Salesperson of the Year by the Bakersfield Association of Realtors. Chaffin has worked as a Realtor with Roberson Real Estate since 1997.
KYM PLIVELICH has won the Bakersfield Association of Realtors’ Rising Star Award. Plivelich is a Realtor with Roberson Real Estate. She and her husband, David, also own The Marcom Group.
TRACEY ROBINSON-BUCKNER has joined The Patel Team at Watson Touchstone ERA as Realtor/buyer’s agent. Robinson-Buckner has been a Realtor since 2005. A Bakersfield native, she has worked with local at-risk students as a mentor.
MATTHEW GARNER has been inducted into UPS’ Circle of Honor, an organization set up to honor drivers who achieve 25 or more years of accident-free driving. Garner, a Bakersfield native who works locally, was among 92 drivers from California to be allowed into the group. There are 9,617 UPS drivers in the state.
