Police have identified a vehicle of interest that may be connected to the fatal shooting of a 3-year-old boy.

The vehicle, described as a silver car, was in the area of California Avenue and Union Avenue within minutes of the Nov. 10 shooting of Major Sutton at his family's apartment in the 800 block of Pershing Road, police said.

Two others were also shot — a woman and a 5-year-old — after the shooter or shooters forced their way inside the apartment. They survived.

Anyone with information regarding the vehicle or the investigation is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Secret Witness at 322-4040.
