Two suspects are wanted in connection with multiple robberies in the Bakersfield area.

The robberies occurred March 1, and two featured a suspect described as a Hispanic man 18 to 25 years old, 5 foot 5 to 5 foot 7, with a mustache and "chin whiskers and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, while the third involved a suspect described similarly except he had a goatee and was dressed in a blue hooded sweatshirt, police said.

The first incident occurred when the goateed suspect entered the Fastrip at 6401 White Lane, according to police. He pepper-sprayed an employee and stole cash from the register.

At 2:35 a.m., the suspect described as having chin whiskers entered the 7-Eleven store at 5301 Stockdale Highway, acted as if he was going to purchase something then pepper-sprayed the clerk and stole cash from the register.

Lastly, at 2:50 a.m. the suspect with chin whiskers entered the ampm at 4203 Ming Ave., pretended he was making a purchase then stole cash from the register once the clerk opened it, police said.

A review of surveillance video indicated the 7-Eleven and ampm robberies were committed by the same suspect, and police said it's believed the Fastrip incident is connected to the other robberies.

A gold late-model Nissan Altima fled the scene of the 7-Eleven and ampm robberies.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call Detective Bagby at 326-3567 or the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111.
