A suspect who police say stole from a convenience store then returned to rob the same store a couple hours later has been arrested.

The 17-year-old male was taken into custody Wednesday at a residence in the 4200 block of Eve Street, according to police. He was booked into Juvenile Hall on suspicion of robbery.

Police said the suspect stole an item from the Fastrip at 4901 South Union Ave. at about 11:51 p.m. Feb. 14. Roughly 2 1/2 hours later, he re-entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and fled with cash.
