A 14-year-old has been arrested in connection with a robbery at a Bakersfield Little Caesars Pizza restaurant.

Police were called around 10 a.m. to the restaurant at 2515 South H St. to a report of a robbery. The suspect pointed a firearm at an employee while demanding cash, then fled on foot.

Officers found the suspect in the 2000 block of Lacey Street, police said. As they tried to contact him, he discarded an airsoft gun and ran. He was arrested a short time later. 

The teen was booked into Juvenile Hall on suspicion of robbery, brandishing an airsoft gun and resisting arrest.
