Officers assigned to the Kern County Auto Theft Taskforce recovered three stolen vehicles at a Union Avenue hotel and made four arrests, police said.

The arrests occurred the morning of Oct. 25 after the vehicles were found at the Residence Inn Hotel, according to police.

Officers arrested Veronica Grisham, 22, Isaac Lopez, 28, and Christina Vega, 27, on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle, according to police. A fourth person, Tommy Elwell, 22, was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.  

A shotgun and several rounds of ammunition were found in a room police searched in connection with the investigation, and police said they've developed probable cause to arrest 24-year-old Raymond Eusebio Velasquez on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. 

Velasquez is described as Hispanic, 24 years old, 5 foot 6, 245 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, with several tattoos on his face.
