Police have arrested a second suspect in a south Bakersfield shooting that killed a teen boy and injured another.

Daniel Quiroz, 19, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of murder and gang offenses in the April 7 shooting in the 3800 block of Fambrough Drive, police said. A juvenile has also been arrested in connection with the incident.

Anthony Michael Gutierrez, 17, died about an hour after being shot, and a second teen was wounded but survived, police said. 

The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Detective Pair at 326-3553 or the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111.
