Police have released surveillance images of three suspects wanted on suspicion of murder in the beating death of another man earlier this month.

The suspects assaulted 30-year-old Isaac Matthew Ortiz the night of Nov. 4 in the 200 block of Truxtun Avenue, police said. Ortiz was taken to Kern Medical Center, where he died Nov. 12 from head trauma, according to the coroner's office.

The suspects are described as Hispanic men in their 20s.

One has a medium build, short black hair and wore a dark-colored T-shirt with writing on the front and blue jeans, police said. He rode a mountain bike.

Another suspect has a medium build, shaved head, goatee,  possible tattoo under his right eye and wore a light-colored shirt and light-colored shorts, according to police. The third has a medium build, long dark hair tied into a ponytail and wore a light-colored hooded sweater, dark shorts and a light-colored backpack with dark-colored trim.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects is asked to call Detective Fred Torres at 326-3273 or the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111.
