A memorial dinner has been scheduled to honor a Bakersfield police sergeant who died in August after suffering a heart attack

The dinner in memory of 47-year-old Dennis Moore will be held from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Nov. 2 at Lexus of Bakersfield, 5101 Gasoline Alley Drive, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.

Tickets are $100. Entertainment will include live music, raffles and a live auction, the BPD said. 

Attendees should wear business attire.
