A man was fatally shot early Friday at an apartment complex on Union Avenue, police said.

Officers were dispatched around 1:30 a.m. to a report of a shooting at 906 Union Ave., according to police. They found a man suffering from gunshot wounds who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses described the suspects as two black males who fled south on Union Avenue, police said.

The victim's name will be released by the coroner's office.
