A man was injured in a shooting in Boron on Tuesday.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said that at around 3:38 p.m., deputies were sent to the 12400 block of Sierra Way after getting a report of shots fired in the area. When they arrived, deputies found a man who had sustained gunshot wounds to his legs.

The victim was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment, the department said. No arrests have been made. The shooting is still under investigation.
