A man was arrested in a shooting in Lake Isabella on Friday.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said 33-year-old Alfred Neith was arrested for allegedly shooting a 52-year old man multiple times, possibly over an argument over Neith’s use of a drone in the area. Neith was booked into the Kern County Jail in suspicion of attempted murder.

At 6:48 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office said Kern Valley substation received a report of shots fired in the area of Scovern and Steensen streets. When deputies arrived, they found a man who had a 52-year-old man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

The man was transported to Kern Medical Center for treatment and was in critical but stable condition as of Saturday.
