Two men and two juveniles were arrested on Thursday after leading police on a pursuit.

The Bakersfield Police Department said that at around 4:30 p.m., officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2600 block of Ming Ave. but the driver refused to stop, leading police on a short pursuit that ended after the vehicle hit a Golden Empire Transit bus in the 1400 block of Ming Ave.

The department said the occupants ran from the scene and dropped a loaded firearm in the process. After officers recovered the firearm and did some investigation, they arrested 20-year-old Daniel Perez and 18-year-old Jesus Perez, as well as two male juveniles. They were all arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, firearm and gang-related charges.
