David Peterson handles his Gyrfalcon hybrid one of three birds of prey he has brought to a get together of the California Hawking Club at the Kern River Campground. Peterson says they have taken up a good portion of the camp ground for their group that will take the hawks hunting in unincorporated areas this weekend.
