Natural gas leak closes area in Frazier Park

Firefighters closed off an area in Frazier Park this afternoon after a leak was detected in a natural gas line.

A construction company noticed the leak at about 1 p.m. near Mount Pinos Way and Glendale Trail, said Sean Collins with the Kern County Fire Department.
Workers were fixing the leak late Monday afternoon. Collins did not know when the area would reopen.
